Registration Process

Returning Families
Returning scholars are scholars who were enrolled and completed season 9 2024-25.
Your first month’s tuition is due at the time of registration. Once your tuition payment has been received, the uniform fee will be added to your account. Please note, the registration fee will only be applied to your account on August 1, 2026 if your September tuition has not been paid in full. This means that if you register and pay your full September tuition by July 15, 2026, you will receive FREE registration. If no payment or only a partial payment is made by that date, a $50 registration fee will be added to your account on August 1.

New Families
New Family
Trial Period
New scholars are considered to be youth/adults enrolling with CCSDA for the first time or did not enroll/complete season 9 but attend a previous season.
Please note that because the studio is closed during the summer, summer registration does not include a free trial class.Families who choose to wait until the regular season begins in September to experience a trial period are welcome to do so; however, registration fees will apply based on the date of enrollment.
All new CCSDA families MUST attend an open house this summer so we can meet you in person.
Tuition payments will NOT be accepted at the open house and MUST be paid online only. We prefer you submit this payment prior to attending an Open House.
At the open house you will tour the studio, meet our Admin, Ms. Lanise Middleton, who is your point of contact for the season. We will also size your scholar for Ballet shoes and their uniform.
The uniform will not be ordered until September 30, 2025 if we feel your family is a good fit for our program.
Families who wait until September to register will be responsible for paying the highest registration fee.
To ensure every family has the opportunity to experience CCSDA before making a long-term commitment, the entire month of September serves as the official trial period for all new families.
During September, new scholars will participate in all classes in which they are enrolled. Throughout the month, our staff will evaluate each scholar's participation, attitude, effort, classroom behavior, and interactions with instructors and fellow scholars to ensure they are a positive fit for the CCSDA community.
During the trial period, scholars should attend class wearing a black leotard, skin-tone tights, and the required shoes for each enrolled class. A studio uniform is not required until acceptance into the program.
At the conclusion of September, families will be notified whether they have been invited to continue as members of the CCSDA family. Upon acceptance, the scholar's registration fee and uniform fee will become due.
For parents and guardians, September also serves as an opportunity to become familiar with CCSDA's policies, expectations, and culture. Throughout the month, we will review important information, including but not limited to tuition and payment policies, additional program fees, recital requirements, attendance expectations, volunteer opportunities, and standards of conduct within the studio, at performances, competitions, and recital events.
Please note that October tuition remains due on September 15 in accordance with our tuition schedule. If CCSDA determines that a family will not continue after the September trial period, October tuition will be refunded. This is the only circumstance under which a tuition refund will be issued. Any late fees assessed to the account are non-refundable and will not be included in the refund.
